Following graduate school, Michael spent three years as the bass trombonist for the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra in New Orleans. Michael has also performed with the Houston, Detroit, San Antonio, Knoxville, Baton Rouge, and Haddonfield Symphonies. Michael is currently a member of the US Navy Band.
